As managing partner of Riverwood Strategies, Todd Cranney's vast experience in successful political campaigns affords him the ability to deliver intelligent and thoughtful strategic guidance. Prior to co-founding his Idaho-based firm, Todd served as National Deputy Political Director of the Romney for President 2012 campaign. In this role, he led multiple state-based campaign teams across the country including in key battleground states. He also served as one of the top four leaders of the Republican National Convention where he oversaw delegate relations in all 50 states.
Previously, Todd has served in a number of additional leadership positions including Political Director for Meg Whitman for Governor in California, Western Regional Political Director for Romney for President 2008 including Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon and California, Campaign Manager for Nathan Fletcher for California Assembly, Southern California Regional Political Director for California Victory 2006 - Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's re-election campaign - and as Field Representative for Nevada and California for Bush-Cheney '04. He also served as a political appointee under President George W. Bush at the Department of Agriculture and as legislative aide on Capitol Hill for Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah.
Through his experience, Todd has developed an extensive network of influential political contributors and leaders in all 50 states and particularly strong relationships in his home state of Idaho, Arizona, California, Nevada, Washington, Montana, Wyoming and Utah. He understands the process, how to develop and deliver the right message, and what it takes to achieve success for his clients. Todd was born and raised on a family farm and ranch in Southern Idaho.
